That was a close call. You have the perfect place to do speed runs. I always had a problem finding good places to do runs.

Pulled a new PB today 😎

Here's the pass from yesterday and new "unofficial" 145mph PB. Was a frustrating day with traffic as you'll see in the video, not to mention the 2 previous times I had to run the car off the road out of the way not shown in the video🙄

Made a couple passes today but this time had Perfect Pass set with not enough delay so had rough starts unfortunately. So no PB but another couple passes in the 140's under my belt and car came home in one piece so can't complain. First pass pulled 142mph and second 144mph so not too shabby at all. Also decided to solder up series plugs off the XLX2 this evening as I've been fighting all the extra wire to get the body on with using a series harness to a single plug off the XLX2. Also should help a bunch with less resistance loosing about 4" of extra wire and also loosing an extra connection point between my batteries and the ESC.

@Edough13 You know your going to be stuck at 148, 149 for a while, just because life want's you to suffer so you appreciate 150 when you finally get there. ;)

We'll see, hopefully it will be like the 140 mark this last time and I pull a few over 🤞🏼 Have to see with the gearing change and better shortened wiring.

Got a early birthday present from my awesome mom today😍 New Toyota GT one body for the Limitless 🤩 Will possibly be spring before I run it as I want to hit my goal of 150mph open wheel first. Weather will play the biggest part as I've still not been able to run last couple weeks due to rain and winds. Now to pick out colors for it🤔 thinking maybe bright orange and bright yellow or possibly orange and white.

Tamiya paint and tape, lexan scissors, body mounts and front foam bumper came in today. Started to get the body fitted but with my XLX2 being mounted on the center brace it doesn't allow the body to sit low as I want it so have to wait to get the final fit and trimming done until I move the XLX2 down. Still really want to hit my 150mph goal open wheel so more than likely this body won't be ran until spring. Unless I can smash my goal soon but my road still has some dirt spots from the last big rain we got so not risking it until it's clear. Hoping I can get at least 5-10 passes in this year but that's all depending on weather and road condition.

Color test, really liking the Tamiya florescent colors🤩

So decided to get the body fit, trimmed and painted. Ran out of white backer for the front yellow half so have to wait for another can to finish it completely. Really liking the bright colors and should help to see it easier at ≈1300 feet away.

High vis for the win! :thumbs-up:
For sure super high vis and should be great for seeing which end is facing forward. Was going to do the colors opposite with orange up front but gald I did the yellow in front as it's super bright. Still going to lighten up a bit also when fully backed and the body film comes off, going to need sun glasses to look at it in the sun 😎🤣
