I've just got two acme cyclone cars for £20, I no there rubbish cars but can't go wrong with 2 for £20 and thier my frist cars.

They have been ran, but have no nitro and the peron i got them off wouldnt give me it :(, I've orded some and should be here wedneday. Is there anything i can do to prelong the life of the cars?

Many thanks
Symon

Hi Symon and welcome. Thats a pretty sweet deal. You've got to start somewhere. Before you try and run them I would have a good look over them and see if anything is missing. Make sure all nuts and screws are tight. Re-grease diffs, check the engines for leaks, clean air filters, fresh batteries, ect ect. too much to write.

Just out of interest how did you manage to get them so cheap?
Did the guy tell you of any known faults?

Cheers for the quick reply.

I no the person and have fixed his car for him.
He had one running to show me it worked, but wouldnt give me the nitro, to me it ran fine, but i dont really no what I'm looking for. Everytime it reved a trail of smoke cam out, not sure if its a good sign

a smoke trail is a must have. there should always be a faint smoke trail all the way through the accelleration. You have got a real good bargain if you've got one ready to go already.
Just learn from them, and eventually you'll know enough to upgrade to a more well known make that has parts more easily available.

Sounds like your off to a good start run the hell out of them and enjoy. Apply everything you learn from what you have to whatever you buy when your ready to upgrade.Post some pics when you can lets see what you got.:D
