would it hurt anything if i wired my headlights to my receiver or would it cause any problems?

my receiver controls the power for the lights on/off. i have a 9 volt zip tied to the front shock tower, and the power is routed into the empty slot on my receiver. when i hit it, it turns on the battery giving me lights, i used an old servo connector and wired it into my red battery line.

You can even solder in an on/off switch on the wire to the Rx like I did on my Wraith.
