New Futaba 3PKS Synthesized ?

I was reading the November issue of Extreme RC Cars Magazine and noticed on page 96 that a Futaba 3PKS was listed in conjunction a Novak XXtra Synthesized receiver.

Is the 3PKS the new synthesized edition of the Futuba 3PK series? This would be so cool if it was. I really love the Futaba 3PK but I hate having to buy and carry all these crystals.

Well, I went to my LHS and they just confirmed that it's a new model that's coming out soon.

So Futaba IS definitely releasing a synthesized version of the 3PK series and it will be sold as a 3PKS model.

Novak will be manufacturing the synthesized switch model for the unit.
