i have a new revo 3.3 fuel tank and when you blow in the hose and hold your finger on the other hose it leaks out of the cap, bad.is there something i can do like an adjustment or somthing? please help i have a new engine coming!

There is no damage to anything i can see thats why i don't understand what is going on. just seems to be my luck lately!:\

You can replace the seal in the fuel tank as that was a known problem in the original Revo 2.5.

How hard are you blowing? When you pressurized the tank while blocking the other side the pressure has to go somewhere and that's going to be the lid. Shouldn't be bad unless your putting a bit of pressure in there.

i am not blowing in that hard and its leaking pretty bad.

Get a new cap and o-ring then lightly sand the tank rim with 600-1000 grit sandpaper to help keep the new o-ring from ripping. A little green slime or dielectric grease on the o-ring will help too.

no, i gave up and got a new one and its fine. i think the other tank was defective.

should still try and figure it out .never hurts to have a spare .i have a couple and they do pay off it may take a while to need it but if you do you got it no interuption in the fun department.running to the hobbyshop sucks.by the time you get back to bashing it's to late .
