I SOOOOO confused!!! there are some many engines to buy. I'm ready to spend money and I dont know what engine to spend it on. My revo needs a new power plant. What I need to know is what do you guys think is the absolute best engine to buy. I want a fast truck but without too much overkill. what do you guys suggest??? PLEASE HELP!!

For direct drop ins I hear the .18TM is fast and controllable, and the RB TM323 is the overkill .23 for some mad power. The .18TZ has a bit more than the TM but requires mods to fit.

what fuel is recommended for the os .18tm? and also are there any .21 size engines that you guys know of that will work in the revo without any modifications? (other than a big block conversion kit)

You would be looking at the RB/Sirio engines which are .23. They are direct fits, also there is a .26 that I think drops in, not sure if there are any .21s.

Rb is not overkill but the for the average Joe it might be. The os 18.tm wasn't enuff for me . I highly recommend the os .18tz. Its faster than the Tm and doesn't have the massive tourqe like the RB.

OS 18TM, it's a direct fit and has great power if it's tuned right. RB.23 and anything bigger is just too much. Most Revo's I race with/against use the 18TM.

i've heard from several people that the tz isn't that much more powerful than the tm. is that true?

Can't go wrong with either of those 3 mills. OS and RB will last you a long time, just depends on what you want to pay.
