I bought a 1/10 car from ebay.

it really didn't come with much of instructions as far as getting it to move.
i got it running and ran about two tanks through it to get it worn in.
when it came time to have it move... it wouldn't go anywhere...
when the car was idling, the clutch bell( i think it is) was moving along with the gear next to it... i need to know if that's normal... or did i burn the clutch out.. or is there something else wrong with it...
also, should gas be spewing out of the muffler in a blackish blue (blue fuel) color? or is there just too much fuel going through to the engine...

Thanks for looking at this... this will help me out very much with any advise you might have.

When the large gear (spur) is being turned by the cb (Clutch Bell) the transmission should be moving the wheels.
If you rev it high, and it will not move forward but you can not stop the spur from turning, you have a problem in the drive train.
If you can stop the spur, the problem is with the clutch inside the cb.
The excess smoke and oil are a sign that the engine is running too rich, and not reaching it's prime running temp.
If it is brand new, it's meant to run rich through break in. There could also be an adjustment to a slipper clutch. Wait for someone else who has that same car.

if i turn the cb a little then i can feel the wheels turning slightly... if i turn it fast... the cb slips and just goes free... when i turn on the engine should the CB and spur be moving while idling?

so i need to cut down the ammount of fuel going into the engine so it can run hotter?
