Are you talking about developing and producing your own brand of car to market to the general public?
Or you want to distribute high end rc stuff?
If you're looking to produce your own stuff here's what I'd do..
Come up with something truly innovative, that's where you'd make your money, Otherwise, you're just producing more of the same that's out there already.
Case in point, the Quad Copter. Arguably THE hottest selling RC item on the market today. Whoever developed and marketed those things has got to be rolling in dough.

What experiences do you have? Electrical? Engineering? Mechanical? CAD? Blacksmithing?

I wouldn't have a clue what machines would be needed besides a CNC machine, but one things for certain, you'd need some basic experience in these skills, listed ^
