I built this last weekend. I didn't get the Baja out this weekend due to flu and I was itching to do something so I glued it up tonight. I can set the Baja on it either way depending on what I'm doing.

Thanks! I was using the box my radio came in but the Baja was squashing the styrofoam so I had to do something. I wish I could take credit for the design but I got the idea off of RC forums. A lot of guys build these.

hmmmmmmm....... the weekend isn't quite over yet! now where my keys at? I'mma go for a late night run to a hardware store! (or maybe my friend's basement) hahahaha:hehe::hehe: I'mma have to try that!

Very nice Charlie. When you say you can set it on there either way, do you mean upside down as well? Also, did you have dimensions to go off of, or did you just measure your car and go from there?

Hope you get to feeling better buddy, the flu sucks.

Gotta love the inexpensive PVC pipe stands.

The majority of my rigs sit on PVC stands while on the shelves.

I haven't tried flipping it upside.....well hang on! Yep upside down too.

I didn't have any dimensions. If you like, I can post the measurements? I'll have to remeasure as I don't remember. I drew it up then got my materials and then it changed up a bit as I was sitting on the back of my PU to build it. In fact, I think I only wound up using 1 of the original measurements.

That looks sweet Charlie. Heck yeah, some measurements would be awesome whenever you get time. I'll build me one for sure.

I need to order me some hostiles for the rear too, just the half a tank yesterday I can tell a difference in what tread was there when I bought it, vs. when I got done playing.

I'm no engineer but I think this will do. I'm digging the looks and feel of the Hostiles. I think they're gonna last awhile. I can't wait to see how they hook up in the dirt! It may be a few days though as I'm icky icky! Thanks for giving me something to do though! lol I can only play station for so long! The 1 dimension thats kind of hard to read is 8 1/2". It can be 8" but not any smaller. I also wound up using about 1' of another piece of PVC.

One of those cheap ratchet PVC cutters is a must IMO. Using a hack saw sucks.

You're telling me! I used a hack saw with no miter box and man was my forearm done!lol It was a pita trying to get em straight.

You're the man Charlie, thanks a ton. Looks like I have my weekend project since it's supposed to rain the whole time. I will be buying one of those cutters like Rob mentioned.

Let it hail and I'll come up and go bashing with you! I'm bout ready to get out of the desert. I like to see the green coming in in the spring.

It got close earlier, our tornado watch just ended. Anytime you're up this way Charlie, you've always got a place to stay. I'm anxious for the foilage to come back myself, I hate being cooped up in the winter. Although it's been unseasonably mild as of late, can't complain.
