That is one cute puppy you got your self. Course there all cute when there puppies lol, then they hit about 2 and are stupid as heck for 3 years lol.

Bryson

Those eyes say it all. She's gonna be one intelligent pup. But just like Bryson said; between 2 and 5 years old is the Box O Rocks stage. My dog went through it, and ended up a very smart pooch.

Dang Chief...Do I dare say it??

The boss has a lil woodie now..

Bailey...he said the dogs name was Bailey....and what is with your Avatar Jon2....I don't get it...;)

Oh, and very nice addition to the family there Woodie.

Nice pup, WoodiE.

I have a black lab, and he's 12 years old with a bad leg, but still hyper and happily stupid. He never got out of his 2 year old stage, I think.

Totally missed it.. Woodies got a new lil woodie.. hence the dog

cool man, had a black lab her name was Bailey. Had to put her down though she had seizures that got to be uncontrollable even with meds they got worse. Our chocolate lab will be 11 next week.

Well we started crate training - and boy did I think she never was going to stop crying. And loud, I didn't think a thing so small could get so loud. She also never stops going to the bathroom - it's like every 30mins she has to go crap or pee and that usually involves Amy or I saying no and running her out to the door.

What a beautiful puppy Woodie! I had a black lab that lived to be 15. Wonderful addition to the family you have there. Labs are the best.

Crate training is the way to go. It won't take long to go for her to get the hint that insides' not a potty area. You may also want to invest in potty training mats; place one by the door, so she knows which way to go.

Hopefully it doesn't turn into a CUTI.

Chronic Urinary Tract infection.

But they are soooo cute at that age!

crating is definitely the way to go. we crate trained out rottie and now she loves her crate. just remember to keep the crate big enough for her move around in comfortably but not big enough to make 2 seperate 'rooms'...1 side to sleep on and 1 to mess in. if thats the case u need to make it smaller. dogs by nature will not mess were they sleep and/or eat. it took our rottie about 1-2weeks to be trained well enough were we could trust her on carpet. just remember that patience now will pay off 10 fold down the line.

I start wanting another dog everytime you guys start talking about one.
Fact is, been thinking about it a lot the last week or so anyway. Both of us are gone too much to spend enough time with one though. Wish there was some way.

Cute pup, Woodie. Good luck with the training.
