Bought this as a nitro roller. Needed the throttle/brake cantilever assembly and electronics. I fabbed the throttle linkage and only ran it long enough to break in the 3.3 it came with. I then converted it to electric. Anyone able to tell me which version this is? I need a new body for it now.

Got a photo of it from the bottom? I think they lengthened the chassis a bit with the 3.3, but I'm not sure if it was in the engine area or up in the front... or both ends.

It’s a 2.5, it has a shorter chassis than the 3.3.

Easiest way to tell... is the one spot for a turning servo on left side of chassis behind front shock tower.. or a big opening in the same place??
Single opening it's a 3.3 chassis
A double wide is a 2.5
Just look for a emaxx body Easiest way... you don't need to match the model you have just the wheel base between front and back. Center to center of axles... if done in inches then convert to mm... and that's the size body your looking for

He said it came with the 3.3 bud.. so it wouldn't be a 2.5.. it has the emaxx tranns in it... the only one you can convert.. which different tranns is a 3.3 chassis.. the 2.5 is to short

I did the same conversion.. but with different tranns and set up.. I just use and run with a extra maxx3.3 body... it doesn't hurt anything probably helps with air flow to the motor and esc to be honest...

Appreciate the input folks. It came with the nitro 2 speed trans w/reverse and engine but both were brand new. I added the emaxx trans and conversion mount. No idea if they came with it.
The chassis are different from 2.5 and 3.3. Specs for bodies seem different by maker. Was hoping one version of the emaxx has a body that fits.

The Emaxx is considered 1/10
the 2.5 is considered 1/10
The 3.3 is considered 1/8
There is a very small difference.. but the 3.3 is still a little longer... the emaxx body should work just fine.. but might have to Reem the mounting holes...look up emaxx bodies on amazon... or on ebay.. the traxxas MAXX 4s.. is basically the new version of the old emaxx.. as the Emaxx was discontinued when they designed that one..here's a guide to RC body sizingfor you to better understand the way to size bodies

the Emaxx 3905/3908 wheel base is the same.. As the Tmaxx 3.3. So the 3906 model was the first one and shorter then the others. So look for Emaxx models 3905/3908 body type.. and they should work perfectly for you sir...👍👍👍
A 2.5 body on the 3.3 chassis.. and the 3.3 body..you can clearly see the difference.🤣🤣 looks funny
2.5 silver
3.3 blue
