Hi guys, i have two buggys and i have to sell one, maybe both, but i can't make up my mind on which one to keep. One is a thunder tiger eb4 s2, its old and dirty but it hasnt actually had that much use. The other is a GS racing storm cl1 which was bought new around Easter this year and has about just over half a gallon through it and was only ever driven on road. It was broken in using the heat cycle method and the engines in both buggys run great and are kept on the rich side.
I need to get an idea on how much each one is worth, they wont be sold with the receivers or transmitters as i only have 2 sets to go between 4 cars (soon to be 3, maybe 2). I havent ever been on a track but i hope to some day and would like to have a decent buggy to do it with, do you think i should hold on to one of the buggys i have or sell the two of them and buy a different one completely.
Any help or opinions would be appreciated, there are pictures to come. thanks :)

I should mention i have new A-arms front and rear, top and bottom on the way for the eb4 along with centre drive cups, brake pads, centre differential and steel main gear.

hard to answer considering I have only sold acouple of my r.c's and have botton atleast half of them back cause I missed having them!!!! The only way I would sell if you like them is if you had something in mind to replace them that you would like to have more!!! cause you will regret selling what ever one you sell not to long after you sell it or after you see it being ran by someone else.. atleast that was my problem. l.o.l. good luck on the decision!!

Yeah I know what you mean, I can't really make the decision, what do you think is the better buggy. I'm sort of leaning towards selling the storm simply because the eb4 is a bit more fun. I did only buy it second hand recently though, so if I could get an idea of which is the more reliable buggy I think I would stick that one. Any ideas on what the sell on value for the storm would be?

I would keep the Storm for sure. Way more durable ride. Redcat is hit and miss....but over all you will find the GS will be a better vehicle over all

how are the parts availability?

I currently have the original GS Storm buggy rtr with the GS B01 engine. I'm at the point where of I happen to break something major I cannot replace, then its time to move on. Its nearly impossible to find parts for it outside of eBay and that is driving my current feelings for this vehicle. Once I do move on it will become a model and nothing more. I think you're decision should be based on that. Hopes this helps, Steve.

thanks guys, its not a redcat by the way its a thunder tiger eb4 s2 with a wing from an old redcat i had, if that makes a difference. How much should i advertise the storm for if i were to sell it on, cost me just over 400 euro around Easter.

i couldnt say which to keep because I've never seen the second car but i have two rc cars a tt eb4s2 and a mta4 .28 and by far id rather my s2 there good little cars and durable ....i lost control of my s2 and it went full throttle at a wall and alls that broke was the fuel tank !:first_place:

yeah i think I've decided to keep the eb4s2

Hey I have a Storm CL-1 RTR and I am missing a part. The O-ring for the high speed needle. I was wondering if you know what the size is so I know which one to buy

Sell them both to give you more money to purchase a better buggy w/better motor. Once you get your new one, you won't be driving the other very often, if at all.

What kind of... "upgrades"

Ones that are more obedient and will do their chores without me asking... and my chores also. ones that will keep my vehicles waxed, clean, and change the oil. Ones that will organize my tool box every time I use it.

Or are you talking about RC car upgrades??

??????? I was taking about rc cars!!
Also you just wax your car I have a 7+ step clean that I've created simply from a griots garage catalog I got last winter. And that's just for paint. All in all its a 20+ step

Let's see...

RC mods? I would like to get a Tekin RS Pro Black Edition (no racism here) ESC and a 13.5T motor (not sure what brand yet). A 8000mah battery would be nice also. Run with that bad boy all night.
