I just got a used AE TC4 with a stock 27t motor. What size NiMH batt should I go with? (I can't afford to go the LiPO route yet) Also what is the difference between a 6Cell 2000 and a 6C 4700 and all the other mah#? Other than price? I'm going to race so run time isn't critical. I can always get more than one battery.

the more mah, = longer runtimes. i have a 3000mah on mine and it runs quite awhile just running around in front of the house. i would go with 3000 or higher.

the larger cells, 7 or 8, will make more voltage, and your rig will run faster, but you have to make sure the ESC will handle the higher voltage.

your MAH is like the size of your gas tank. the more MAH you can hold the more energy you have and you can run your rig longer.
