Hello. A stupid problem, as usual: I need to take apart the backplate of a Kyosho GS11X but I can't take the pullstart out for some reason. The thing has a single screw on the side and doesn't appear to be kept in place with anything else, yet it still won't budge. Has any of you done this before? Thanks.

Just a guess here since I'm not familiar with that pullstart, but I'm thinking you'll need to put a jeweler's screwdriver under the edge of the cover and pry it away from the engine. Most likely there's a tab/slot setup that's holding it there since the only screw has been removed.

Well it cracked a tiny bit, but it came off in the end. Thanks.

after you repair it try some heat not such.no open flame..then a micro amount of this I've used thi sto repair a A arm pivot point to a plastic trim piece.https://www.amazon.com/RapidFix,.

I think I have an old soldering iron laying around, I think I'll try heating it with that- although honestly the crack is barely noticeable, and is much less of a problem.
