alright i got the .18ss on a rush evo and the fuel line has a fuel filter

today i found out my low speed needle was way off from the factory and thats why i could get a good tune. so i set all my needles to factory set to try and re tune. well i go to prime the fuel and it wont prime the fuel up unless the the carb is wide open. so once i get fuel in it then put the carb to normal position it runs but it wont keep sucking fuel so it quits. anyone have a idea on why its not sucking the fuel?

Did you check the fuel lines for damage? Did you check the fuel tank for cracks? Did you make sure the fuel filter is in properly?

yes everything is fine. I'm thinkin it might have to be something to deal with the low speed needle. maybe it needs to be set richer so it will suck.

Is the idle set? You should have about a 1mm gap in the carb. From there I normally like to run richer first. What dettings did you set all the needles to?

alright the LSN is 1 1/2 turns out from closed position. the HSN is 3 turns out from closed position and the idle screw is about 1mm out i believe.

They don't really "suck" fuel. Fuel is pushed in from the pressure from the pipe.

Check your pressure line and make sure you can blow through it into the pipe and through it into the tank. Your pipe may have the pressure nipple plugged up from a rich break-in.

well that could of been it. but not positive considering its too dark out to start it now. so I'm gonna have to wait till tomorow. but any other possibilities?

1.5 turns from closed? Or 1.5 turns from flush with the housing? Normally, flush with the housing that it's in is pretty close to running. Typically a bit rich at that setting. 1.5 just sounds like very little from the bottom.

I'm pretty positive it meant from closed, but i can try from flesh with the housing tomorrow. might help. any other possibilities? I'm just trying to get every possibility so tomorrow if one don't work then i can try another.

alright its running. so if the motor is cutting out at full throttle that means the motor is too rich correct?

Depends on HOW it cuts out. If it seemingly bogs and then just cuts out then it's too lean but if it gurgles and sputters then it's too rich. Here's an auditory example:
