Let me make one suggestion... clean your truck!
Its a good idea to clean down your truck after every run.
You get all the muck off and can inspect everything for damage, loose etc..
More importantly, when you pull apart your diff ( or whatever you're fixing) you won't get bits of lawn and sand in in there too. 👍

Will do, I'm not a heavy thrasher/basher, especially, as you guy's know, when you've put in a lot of time in to improve or build your rig it's all for not if you're tearing it up, of course I will see where it's limits are and as you , keep it clean, I couldn't imagine getting one of your guy's high dollar rigs messed-up. and thanks

Your rc might not be super high priced but it still needs to be looked after and maintained.
Getting into a good cleaning and storage ritual now will only make things easier down the road when you do have a more advanced kit to look after.
Qtips, tooth and paint brushes, compressed air, soapy water and rags are all things to be thinking about trying so you can get it clean.
It makes no difference what kit or how much it cost. We are ALL here learning and hopefully getting better all the time. We ALL started as noobs with 'not the best' rc's too.
Just keep doing what you're doing.
Soon you'll have a few rc cars and you'll be answering noob questions too.😎👍

Tearing it up is why we ALL do R/C!!! 🤣😎👍

Right on! here is my redcat with a simple cover I made for it, so hopefully I can keep it clean, it's open front and back to promote air flow and with spring/summer around the corner my electronics have fan and heatsinks on them to help cool trying to keep them under 170 deg.

I think a cover like that might be helpful under a body but you'll prob want to be thinking about a full lexan body for better debris protection but prob more important is for roll over damage.
Body post, shock towers and plastic in general just doesn' t do well against asphalt and trees at speed! 😉
Anything that will help keep water away from your electronics is ALWAYS a win!!! 🤣
I think Losi used chassis bags, sort of like hair nets to keep the chunks out of their chassis. 👍

No wonder i don't ever finish a project! I'm easily distracted, since I had the redcat out I thought I'd lift it a couple inches also, yeah it looks so much better, that's just me always ridin' High.

Okay, so I'm back on meteor, hello me, it's me again, threw some rubber on it hooked up battery pushed a couple buttons on the esc , got binded with my radio steering works well, buttons no longer flashing for motor, adjusted throttle limit to stop light and no motor response, I didn't put a programming card on the esc, seems pretty straight forward, guess I better look at the instructions, ha ha, be right back.

Can you say Frankenstein???
well after a couple different esc combos and pinion changes, I got it runnin' out fairly smooth, guess I'll tidy up my mess replace some wheel bearings and shim a few spots to true up the steering and wheel camber and ol meteor will be okay for light track and trail use.🤫

That T4 is a nice ESC!!! 😍😎
Great job getting this beast worked out! 👍

Thankyou very much, just some trail and error with lots of used parts but that's the fun part for me anyway, I'll button this up and move to the next victom.🙄
