Hello, I'm currently working on my revo, waiting parts and money, so in between I've been working on this yellow truck, unidentified, a few months ago I bought it as a roller, no tires, no body-electronics, anyways, the seller said it was a robby gordon dakar 2wd slash, I knew by the picture it wasn't 2wd with the mid mounted engine, ((so can you help me with the manufacturer or model of this 4wd? )) I can't figure it out, one reason I did get it was the support bars installed on both upper and lower a arms to the body pan.
THANKYOU FOR LOOKING.

It's definitely not hobby-grade. It looks like a toy grade truck you'd buy at Wal-Mart or Amazon that someone roughly installed hobby grade electronics into.

How in the world the seller tried to pass that off as a 2WD Slash is wild...

oh I know, I was waiting for you to say, as per Joe dirt about my little meteor, (what you got there is big chunk of poopy.

That is a rough looking wiring job!! I definitely wouldn't want to put any kind of power through those connections. Some people just suck with their lies. Seems to be happening more and more. Buyer beware.
yep, that wiring is rugged, i threw it on to see if the drive train even turned, it does, I have some leftover futaba stuff to put on later , I know, you can't polish a turd! but I'll try...

Don't dump too much money or time in that. Run it, enjoy it, break it, move on. 👍😎

I have vanquesh ve1 leftover that ought to quicken the process.
I tricked out a cheaper rc and it was cool. It was FAST but it wouldn't last a single battery pack without breaking. Just don't want to see anyone else do the same. 😉
Where is the build thread on that Vanquish??? 😎

no build thread on a Vanquesh, just the vanquesh motor wreaking havoc on ol'meteor...

Hopefully I'm not disappointing you all with my low budget build, I don't have a lot of cash and try to work with what I can afford or have on hand, I'm just thankful to be apart of this great hobby with you guys that have much more experience than I, again thanks for your patience.

You can never disappoint! Just be you!

Not a disappointment at all! As you said, its great to be involved. I want to see a person enjoy the very most that they can from RC.
If you are happy, you're doing it right. 👍
Jennysrc.com is a great place for some budget friendly parts. 😁
