hey, I wanted to buy a new 4.6cc engine for building up my first rc car from scratch. There are a hell lot of brands out there in the market and I am confused as to which are the good ones and where not to buy from etc etc.
Can someone suggest me a nice engine buying guide containing stuff like what to buy, which company and where to buy from???
I am a newbie in this field and have no past experience whatsoever.
Your individual opinions based on experiences would be a big help. :)

I have been searching for engines since the past few days and somehow I have got the image that a HPI NitroStar F4.6 engine would be fine for me.. And also, one of my friends told me to buy an OS engine. What do you suggest??

Most nitro engines are pretty much built the same as far as duribility but hpi 4.6 will prob be the way you want to go. OS are excellent motors too.

Alot is based on personal preferences bur I prefer the associated 4.6 (Its actually a Thunder Tiger motor) that I have in my MGT. Once sealed it has treated me great as I'm thru 2 gallons bof fuel and it still has tons of compression left
