It was the fact that it is clearly not mint condition and double the price of one you could have built I guess

.
These ebay sellers with their overpriced "rare" items will keep getting away with these obscene price marks because some fool out there HAS to have that car.
I guess I am more of the opinion when it comes to the value of stuff, being more tied to what people are willing to pay.
I have seen the new never used versions of this particular RC bring a grand, I have seen really rough used ones bring 400-500. I have seen customized stuff that barely has any of the original car left bring 500+ .
What I paid seemed pretty well in line with where the market is on them right now, maybe even a 100-150 under market based on its condition.
It really comes down to what people are interested in, what they can afford, availability, condition, all that sort of thing.
I am not really a buggy guy, I rarely even run anything open wheel. so I am not likely see or find much value in stuff I am not that interested in.
Basically what one guy might think is worth a mint, I may not find it worth anything to me.
I am not going to call them a fool or foolish because I know their is all sorts of stuff out their in the world I would not give 10 cents for, but it’s someone else’s passion and worth the world to them.
This car the Senton 6s is right down my alley and something I never knew existed back when they were new and readily available.
Granted back then I was still very much in my Traxxas fog, and had not ventured outside of Traxxas. Still love Traxxas, just discovering other similar products from other brands essentially paying more attention to all sorts of different brands offering similar products.
Being I enjoy the hunt, the collecting , etc side of the RC hobby, it was worth what I paid for it to me.
That’s what I meant earlier when I posted to each their own.
