I got such sweet seats for this race. Road course should be fun to watch too. That's really the only one that interests me to be honest. Got turn 3a section c seats which is on the upper part of the track so you can see pretty much all of it. I got tics for Sat and Sun but I dunno really how much is going on Sat, I think just the lesser races are happening.
 
I live 10 minutes from Infinion (3 hours on race day) and dont get there that often. Weird isn't it.

I SO want to leave my STi at your house. But I am having trouble finding info on buses. I called and left a message at the general info at the track, we will see if someone ACTUALLY calls me back. I can leave you the keys and you can see what AWD + turbo nets ya. It's usually nets me a hard on, but that's just me.
 
I just called around to find that this is the closest buss to the raceway.
Going S. on 101 get of on PR Exp. and go right. FoodMaxx is a few blocks up on the left side just past the Movie theater.

OK, I gotta bitch. Not about Nextel, but about the Busch crap. I'm sitting here watching the Milwaukee race, and all the Nextel pricks started at the back. And for the first 15 laps, that's all they showed. No coverage of the leader. Nope. I sat there and watch them show Denny Hamlin in 23rd place for 5 laps. If I didn't know better I would have assumed he was leading the f***ing race. I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting sick and tired of watching the same guys racing on Saturday AND Sunday. So much for it being a development series. Looks more like a series for guys who can race in a Nextel race but can't win in one. [/rant]
 
it's 100% marketing at this point. Nascar knows that attendance will drop significantly if they don't allow the Cup guys to run the Busch series. the comentators like to brag about how the Busch series can "support itself", however I call Bullshit on that one. If the Busch series was what the Busch series should be very few of the people who watch would continue to watch... and I'll admit I'm one of them. It's not that the racing isn't good (trucks are better) but I'm a big Mcmurray fan and generally speaking I make it a point to watch if he's driving. If he's not then it's really not as high on my priority list. Unfortunately I just dont' have time to watch 20 hours of racing every week. If I did I'd follow just about any series that's on t.v. (sounds like heaven don't it!?!?)

damnit, I gotta say Jaime did it to himself.. overdriving trying to get ahead on the first lap. He tried a stunt like that in Mexico too (not on the first lap), cost him there too. Pisses me off.. I know he's good at road courses but he keeps puttin himself in positions that end up costing him a bunch of spots..

Well, I'm gonna brush off a little blame on PJ Jones for one instance. It doesn't make me feel much better but hey, I'm rollin with the punches here... :)
 
Like Jamie said, tough day all around. But yeah, PJ hacked the hell out of him in that one corner.
 
Well Gordon showed his true colors yet again today..Go figure..

And another great day for my man burton..Raced a great clean race as all ways..
 
I know all the Gordon haters will say he wrecked him to win.So what..I guess everyone forgot about Bristol...He was faster and would have beat him anyway.Plus Kenseth ran out of gas.Nascar didn't blackflag him so no harm no foul.Kenseth said himself he was slowing down and Gordon was faster than him.So why do you block a man that you know is faster than you.All your doing is delaying the inevitable.
 
Tough win. Gordon was defintely faster than Kenseth. I doubt he meant to tap him. Looks like Matt didn't get on the gas through the turn and Jeff crept up on him. Intentional? Doubt it. Frankly, I'm getting so used to it every week that it just seems normal.

And did y'all hear that Ganassi has signed Juan Pablo Montoya away from Formula 1 to run the #42 next year?
 
WoooHooo Gordon gets another win and moves back into the top 10!

Matt should have moved over. When it's the end of the race and your the slower car you can either move or get moved.

I agree. It pissed me off at first but when you see the replay it's obvious, Gordon was waaaay better in the center.. he woulda got him the next time around anyway.. guarantee.

I was totally stoked to hear about Montoya, great news for Nascar. I look forward to watching his progress.
 
The bad news is that little punk Kyle Bush won

The good news is Jeff Gordon moved up a spot in points :banana:
