Actually, I'm a Gordon fan. But since there's not a chance in hell of him winning today, I'd rather see Jr. win.
Unfortunately, looks like JJ should take it. And that sucks. I guess cheaters do win sometimes.

I can't believe that no one would run with Jr. That's got to piss him off. He made the move and the all hung him.
 
Jimmy ran a good race. I not happy about a them winning considering they got caught cheating but what can ya do.

I think I'm a little bit less a Stewart fan though... that crap that he pulled was simply unjust. He was mad cuz Kenseth got him Aero loose at the beginning of the race.. no, not cuz he made contact but because he got him loose. I guess Tony must of forgot what type of racing he's a part of now. what an butthead.

Kudos to Kurt Busch for keeping his cool. At least he's trying.

LOL @ me. I'm defending the two guys I don't really like. I guess I really don't dislike anybody.
 
Needless to say I'm pissed, might even consider not watching another Nextel Cup race I'm so freakin' pissed. My thoughts on Stewart, the guy doesn't just hit people unless they deserve it as in eye for an eye. The camera only showed one side of his incidents and not what precluded it. I can't believe Mears in a Dodge, dogged out another Dodge to go with a Chevy.

We probably need to watch on posting spoilers for the consideration of those that haven't watched the race yet.

He went up high to put him back in 21st and ran out of lap's . But yes he had no "FRIENDS".. BULL poop restrictor plate racing

JR might make the chase but that will be it. Only tracks JR is good on is the big tracks. He just uses hius name to get anywhere in life. Now the whole thing with Stewart was blown way out of proportion in my book. It looked to me that Stewart was just coming down to pass someone and Kenseth he didn't know Kenseth was there so maybe it was the spotters fault. I am not a fan of Stewart at all so I am not trying to defend him but from what I heard from people today they all saw the incident but just jumped right on him without knowing what were the exact circumstances.

I think Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson will put on a great show this season and one will come out a champion, As much as I hate him Stewart would be my next pick.

About Stewart, when he went down on Kenseth it was no accident, he pretty much admitted that at the end of the race. He deserves a point deduction for what was obviously retaliation to a very minor incident. The good thing about his short temper is that when he races like that he usually doesn't finish very good

Man, I don't know what race you were watching, but there's NO WAY that was an accident. NO ONE pulls all the way down to the yellow line on a straight to make a pass on someone up on the wall. Nope. Not a chance. He chased Kenseth off the track on purpose. My bitch is that he was pissing and moaning before the race about all the unsafe driving and bumping and stuff. But then he does this? Makes me realize the peepee-head that he was 2-3 seasons ago hasn't disappeared after all. It was just hiding.
 
I agree, he chased Kenseth down there. Hell, he took his car all the way PAST the yellow line after the initial contact. That was 100% deliberate. His post race interview pretty much summed it up too. the only thing he didn't say to incriminate himself was a pure confession. It was sooo obvious that he knew what he did and knew that all he had to do was not brag about it in order to avoid further conflict with NASCAR. I have lost pretty much all respect for him after that. This is in no way blown out of proportion. How can you talk so much garb about safety one day and then 1 week later wreck somebody on purpose at 190mph. We see that kinda stuff at the smaller tracks but NEVER... NEVER at restrictor plate races.
