RC Driving Style
Hello guys, just got into the hobby and got my first car about 2 weeks ago, it's a hpi evo+ almost new, kid gave it to me for 100 because he lost the carb so I ordered the part and it will be here soon. Yesterday while watching the rc drifters at a track by my work I bought a ofna buggy for 80 bucks, it was in great shape just in pieces in a box so I took it hope last night and started to put it together and I have a few problems and the main one is that I can't identify the truck, it has no model number or anything all I know is its a ofna. I just need to get parts and this is making it very hard. O by the way the problem is I don't have what ever pi or screw to connect the steering servo to the trucks rack it's like a little ball joint thing with a hole and it looks like a pin goes through but I'm not sure. I need model info for parts.

Thanks everyone and hope to see you on the TRACK!

looks like an ofna ultra lx buggy not sure if its the lx1 or lx2 but I'm pretty sure its one or the other both of them are basically the same buggy parts will innerchange with each other

thank you sir you're the second person that has told me that. you would think that was a serial numbers on the things or something

Nope no serial numbers on rc's. When your trying to figure one out the best thing to do is to do exactly what u did and post a pic on here the guys here are pretty good with id of a chassis. And Another good way is to go to google image and compare your pics to the ones you find online its really easy when you no its an ofna that narrows the search alot

I agree it looks like a ofna ultra lx1 or lx2. Without a wing they even look alot like the ofna ultra gtp2 onroad car. Except the gtp has a huge foam front bumper and sits lower with much taller body post.

I appreciate all the replies and thanks for all the help guys, thanks for going out of your way to help a stranger. now for my next problem I need parts and there's no way around it should I just go with LX 1or LX 2 parts? the parts I need ar pretty simple, I need body pens I think that's what they're called, the car did not come with a shell and I want to get want to protect it but I do not see anybody pens. the only other part I need I do not know the name of and I don't remember what it looks like, I went out to play with it yesterday after rain and there's a park down the street and I have fun sliding around on the court well out of nowhere there was this big basketball goal just appeared out of nowhere, I hit nose first no serious damage she started right up but did not steer, there's a little steering linkage on the servo it looks like a light bulb shape and has a metal ball bearing in the middle with a hole in it that looks like maybe a nut or a pin passed through to connect it to the steering linkage if someone could help me I would really appreciate it.
