hi

my xtm x-c is awesome... BUT
i think i flooded the engine, and when i poull the pull start it dosnt move the piston, unless i take the glow plug out it works fine nice and you can pull the pull start and its good, but once you put the glow pug back in it pulls and recoles but its not doing anything what should i do!!! please help!!!

I have the same problem on my xxx-nt. The problem is that the one way bearing inside the pull start case gets dirty/grimey and the bearings stick and do not release. So what i do is pull the glow plug out, and fill the motor with fuel out of the bottle, and shake it up and pour it our like 3 or 4 times. If that doesn't work, very carefully take the pull starter off the engine, and clean the one way bearing my hand in fuel.

When cleaning by hand i use alcohol to clean and 3-in-1 to lube.

Your best bet is to clean by hand. some guys drill 2 small holes in the starter housing. One right in line behind the one-way and one in the bottom of the housing case. Then you shoot some nitro spray through the hole at the bearing while pulling the cord. Works quickly, but is a bit messy.

thanks i will try that !!!

i had no idea what to do
