hi, I've got a savage 25 how do i get it lowered like that, obviosuly i cud just fit soft springs, but what about the driveshafts, do i have to change them to avoid them popping out

To lower your truck like mine you would have to use a LCG TVP of some type. I'm useing Twisted Toys tvp's. (but T.T. are hard to find anymore.) There are sevral differnt companys that make a wide varioty of them.
You can limet the shock's by taking the shafts out and useing O rings or fuel tubing to limet the shock traval.
I never had probs with the dog bones poping out.

sorry lcg ? , lol .. I've always raced buggys so I'm new to this truck stuff. by lowering it that much have you lost the boddy role of the savage, becuase I'm looking at making mine race worthy, and to do that i wud say it defo needs to lose the bodyrole

Low center of gravity tvp's.

The savage X conversion would lower it. I think FLM (fast lane machine) makes lowered tvp's.

vertigo preformance also use to make some.
Twisted Toys but casy isnt makeing them anymore unless you can find a used set.
the Savage X TVP's but they are not lowered as much as aftermarket one's. but they will lower it a good bit.
The set up i run it handles more like a truggy, and I have np running with revo's. it does not roll over that easy...

my charge jack mod.

The battery wires tuck nicly under the chrage port. I shortened the battery lead and spliced in a charge lead. The servo wires tuck down in the third servo spot, then velcro holds the fail safe, wich in turn holds the wires in place. Nice and neat

the battery leads stay up front and the servo leads are tucked in the middle away from them. To help keep down any electrical interference.

nice and clean looking easy to get to even with the body on.
