Well, after a long 6-1/2 months, I finally got to run my Savage today! It's the first time since installing several parts/upgrades.
It's nice to have servo that will actually turn the wheels! And with the stock steering servo moved to the throttle/brake position, the brakes were a bit much and needed to be backed off a bit.
The Fantom pipe sounds great and seems to be good so far, but it's still running a little rich on the low end and the shift point needs re-adjusted. I changed gearing which I'm sure is why the shift point is off.
I only ran 2 tanks of fuel, trying not to be too rough on it, but I did manage to put a few scuffs on the new body. I also found out real quick that I need to do some suspension/tire tuning to take advatage of the better steering.
All in all it was fun again, FINALLY!
