Here's my Felony aka Crusher Serena and the XO-1 i haven't given a new name to yet

How's everyone doing on this fine Monday evening? For past few weeks i've been busy doing RC stuff researching some new things i want and figuring out what i want to do with my current cars. As most of you all know i bought a new old stock Arrma Vendetta 3s BLX roller, a body, wheels\tires and a servo for it i also temporarily put it together and on it's first run the rear diff started to bind and grind. I'm also thinking about buying my first ever new Spektrum radio a DX6C since they have a sale on Amazon for them $145 for the radio and a SR315 receiver maybe next month along with rebuilding the Vendetta's rear diff with a new ring gear and the month after i might get combo i want for it and get that car finished. I don't know what i'll do for the remaining two months of the year other than doing Christmas shopping for my family and maybe picking up new receivers for my soon to be new DX6C. For next year i have plans to get this new RC along with another one for me and my Granddad Dan.

For me i'll be getting the new just announced Arrma Fury V2 550 Mega i might get a couple upgrades for it like the Arrma Receiver box to use a receiver that will work with my future DX6C then eventually get the iXSR i might also switch out the included NIMH battery for a 2s Lipo and run it brushed for awhile until i either burn up the stock motor then i might go brushless with my Fury.

Then the big plan for next year will be upgrading from the DX6C to the iXSR radio which i will hopefully have plenty of receivers for it by the time i get it from owning the DX6C for awhile. After that i'll probably work on the cars i have for awhile and see where next year takes me and my family

It sure is, I saw some of videos of the Gorgon and it's bulletproof in terms of durability and since the new Fury is based on it i just have to have the Fury soon. I was also looking at the new BL-2s Slash 2WD Kit for my granddad but it's $100 more than the Gorgon not including some of the stuff i would want to do it like an LCG chassis kit, Different radio, Servo and change the ESC connector to either an IC3 or 5. Although it would be cool to have both another 2WD Slash and the Fury V2 together but i think the Gorgon\Fury V2\Vorteks V2 platform might be more cost effective and it has big potential for upgrading it to brushless power in the future. The only downside is that Arrma has less parts support than Traxxas at least locally where i live but most of Arrma's parts can be ordered straight from Amain or Horizon Hobby's websites.

How's it going everyone? Yesterday i ordered parts for my Vendetta that chipped a tooth on it's rear diff early last month on it's maiden run i ordered the stock Firma 100a esc and firma 3,900kv along with the stock heatsink and fan motor for her as well as a new ring gear\diff housing set and a set of Arrma 12x15.5x0.2 washers that i heard someone used as diff shims for their 3s diffs i also bought some more super lube and a small thing of blue Loctite. I also bought a Ghost Rider blu-ray set and that's about it for what i bought and planned to buy this month after this i will start saving up for my next big RC purchase my next RC transmitter a Spektrum iXSR say what you all will about it but i've always wanted a high end RC TX and i always wanted something like the DX6R which was the iXSR's predicessor. And this will mean i might be selling my RC8X after so many issues with range and reliabilty and hearing about the issues others have had and Radiolink's inability or willingness to recogize and fix these issues. Shoutout to DavidB1126 for informing about his issues of this potentially dangerous product that's the RC8X. Cheers and see you all later.

How's it going everyone? Last week i got in my diff ring gear and shims for my Vendetta just waiting on the ESC and Motor i ordered from eBay to get here by next Wednesday. I also have been looking into getting my first RC rock crawler\trail truck early next year it will be a Traxxas TRX-6 Mercedes-Benz G-63 AMG 6x6 at first i was worried about their availability since they were out of stock everywhere but Amain just got in the white one i want on the 6th.

Here's a pic of the White one i want as i said these were on backorder everywhere until Amain got them in again. I'll be saving up for it and will hopefully have enough money by my 25th birthday in a few months. I mainly came up with the idea of getting a trail truck to drive down my local green belt and creek i have in my neighborhood. And i always liked the real Mercedes G-63 6x6 especially when Top Gear (UK) tested one and i saw a Doug DeMuro's video of the Brabus G700 the modded version of the base G-63.

I have seen some videos of these Traxxas TRX-6's and they seem super awesome and capable probably more capable than i truly need. But like i always am with RC's if i find something i like and i'm able to save up for it i'll most likely get it. I'm hoping to have my TRX-6 G-63 6x6 by my 25th birthday i also have a creek\greenbelt in my neighborhood and i'm looking forward to getting the truck and taking there. There are also some other crawlers i might better interested in getting in the future like maybe the new SCX10 III Jeep CJ-7 or a SCX6 Trail Honcho who knows but maybe sometime in the future after the launch with the TRX-6.

Today i finally got in my new ESC and Motor combo for my Vendetta it's the stock one but it will hopefully hold me off until i get the Max 10 G2 140a\3665SD G3 4,000kv combo someday. It took a bit to get the diffs sorted since they both barely had any fluid in them from the factory but i had some Traxxas 10k on hand i also had to put 3 shims into the front diff before it took the grinding\binding away.

Here's the Vendetta all back together with the new ESC, Motor and servo.

Here's another one but without the body on. The ESC and motor is the stock Spektrum Firma 100a with Firma 3660 3,900kv brushless combo came right out of another new 3s Vendetta or 3s Infraction was originally going to do a stock motor but go with a Firma 120a V2 Black edition but due to budget constraints i had to go full stock. Same servo as before a S662 straight out of a V2 or 2.5 Kraton\Outcast 4s and my semi trusty Radiolink RC8X TX with R6FG RX. Still the same tires the White compound Hoons but the aftermarket ones not the stock Elevens that this car and the Infraction came with.

Mine was a bit hard to control at first but i was running a different radio in mine without AVC like the stock DX3 radio and receiver has. But today i fully rebuilt the car redid the diffs, installed the stock esc and motor i bought for her this month then reassembled the whole car this afternoon i hope to get out to run her again in the next few days. Just have to let the loctite set awhile i hope she'll be a reliable, fast and fun car like my Castle MMX8s\1717 converted Felony. I don't plan to go super crazy with the Vendetta it will just be a 3s basher that can still go fast with gearing.

I love my Gorgon! Its prob one of the most fun "out of the box" r/c's I've ever owned!
I hope you're diffs are nice and smooth now!
Killer prices on new-take-off parts @ jennysrc.com for a "fundzalo" project.
I got a Spektrum 130a and a 3900kv (few actually) motors and I'm very happy!
Can't wait to see it all done and running! Got vids???
