Any Questions, dont hesitate to ask, I like to answer them!

I suppose that's the perfect weapon for hunting deer? Just like the AK-47? lol

Talk about overkill

Well .223 is not much bigger than a .22 bullet as far as the lead diameter, but has a lot more power, but yes a lot like the AK-47, except it is gas operated.

Its for when that damn dog wont stay out of his yard....or maybe to disguise it as a paintball gun and have some fun ey?

mmm, well I know nothing about guns, matter of fact deathly afraid of them.

I'm only afraid if someone else is holding it and its pointed at me and its loaded.

How does that go?... oh yeah...

"Gun control is a steady hand"

Nice hardware, bforum!

Very Nice gun !!.I'm getting an Airsoft gun like that..The M4A1 Those are tight guns...Semi and Full Auto.It looks pretty much the same as that...Even has the same adjustable stock as that one.Nice gun man !!!

Very nice. How expensive are the rounds? I'm really interested in one of those. I have an old russian 7.62mm I use for playing around. How does this compare to the 7.62 SKS style rifle power and distance wise?

I also bought a Hi-Point 9mm riffle. It take 9mm hangun ammo, and has one of the red dot lasers on it. It also takes a pistol type cartridge. Nice cheap, and fun. Not as much power/accuracy as the SKS, but still a fun one to go plink. (really cheap new too)

Me, I use mine as an investment type a deal. Whenever I spot a good deal on a gun, I know getting my money back will be a cinch. They really hold their value.

Besides that, nothing takes out a weeks frusteration like blowing up a few pumkins, monitors, old beer kegs etc.

Gah!! I found a reproduction Tommy gun at the pawn shop WAY COOL! .45 hangun ammo in a semi auto whoo! Too bad the price tag was up there $995.00 I was drooling over that one.

Smurfola- It is semi-auto because it is illeagal in the state of washington to have full auto. And the uses are you can hunt, plink around and they are also a goo investment, because guns always hold their value.

lykan- The power and distance is quite different, seeing as how

.223 is 5.56X45mm NATO they run from 40 grain to 65 grain and range from 3000 to 3500 feet per second.

The 7.62X51mm which is also a NATO round which is shot from the sks ranges in grains from 110 to 190, and put out 2000 to 3000 feet per second.

So as far as distance and power the muzzle velocity of the .223 is higher and so the distance would be too. This is cause of the lower weight to powder grain ratio.

Your second question... i buy 500rds for $50, and those are 55 grain.

PS that reproduction tommygun is a good find i would reccomend getting that.

The price of my M4 was $750 on sale from $900 and i also bought two 30rd clips at about $15 each and 500rds for $50.
So i am into it a good $830.

This is actually a very well respected Varmint rifle. Great for Coyote, Gophers, Prairie dogs etc.

Just because it looks like a military rifle does not mean its a Machine gun.

I am not even kidding ..I had the same gun! I put it together from parts from bushmaster!!! I felt like poop selling it since it wasn't registered as a whole. I ended up getting an Styr Aug BUT that was sold so I could get a Glock Cpmensated which I traded for a Brand New Baretta 40.. Damn it those were nice guns I had. ITs ok those guns are illegal due to the type and barrell length.

Hey Jon2,

Have you ever actually shot a Compensated Glock before? I've owned the good ole Compact Glock 19 in the C model and I couldn't stand it like most people. If your just using it for a plinking gun then I could c the appeal with the lowered recoil but for self-deffense...now way dude. In dark and low light conditions your ass WILL be blind after the first shot. In self deffense applications this is a no no and most serious handgun people that I know wouldn't own one either. No diss but just giving you some info

I love my Glocks and other handguns I own but my "daily driver" is my 1911 (Style) Kimber Pro Carry II .45 in Stainless ( steel upper and strong ass alluminum lower). She shoots like a dream, is acruate as hell for a .45 1911, awesome balance and awesome to look @..lol. Outfitted with Hogue rubber (finger grouved) grips and 8 Round wilson combat mags. My favorite Glock (that I still own) is my good ole Glock 19 3rd genration with tactical light on the rail and over phucking priced hi-cap factory pre-ban mags (as much as I liked Clinton in many ways, we can all thank him for paying through the teeth for "pre-ban" mags). I owned a full-size Glock 21 (.45acp) but didn't care for it as nothing feels better in my hand then a 1911. Glocks or one of those guns that you either love or hate but you can't denie their legendary reliability and low-cost matinence (not many parts).

As to the subject @ hand. It's great to c fellow guns owners. I use to contribute to various gun forums back in the day like ak-47.net and their was some great guys on that forum but to many wacko kids and hatefull, igrnorant rednecks in genreal (no offense to any actual rednecks). I wouldn't consider myself a "gun-nut" as I realize that their's much more to life then guns (lol) but I enjoy them like many of my hobbies.

I'm a HUGE fan of military style assault rifles. I have a relatively large collection and especially for a 24 year old (LOL). In the future I might get my Class III license so I can legally own overpriced machine guns. I've never served our country but MANY of my relatives have. I've owned Plenty of AR's over the years in Pre-ban and post ban but I prefer a kick ass Ak-47 "variant". The fave in my collection is my SAM-7S. Who says the AK isn't accurate, I've outshot many custom AR's with much longer barrel lengths. The AR-15 is nice for punching paper and hunting varmints (don't hunt anymore) but you can't denie the awesome reliability and power of the AK-47.

Peace
