'I' tried out my new engine today that i bought off ncnitro... very nice! and lots of compression... Thanks for a great engine ncnitro

unfortunatly my neighbour who installed it for me snapped the pull string and he fliped it right onto the engine head... but then he sanded it down for me so you can't see all the scraps.. i bet you wont recognise it now ncnitro lol

Anyway as soon as it takes off it's goes really fast and just flips on it's top..
what can i do about this? please advise...

my neighbour fixed the string for me but said it's best i don't use it as it's very fine and will snap..so all i need is longer screws to fit the roto start bit.(which i already have)

i still haven't used this truck yet! all i've ever done is start it and watched my neighbour test it out... i don't know wether to keep this truck or not.. it's been such a headache... but now i have a good engine.. i don't know what to do.. if i can't sort this 'flippin' thing out i may just get rid of it.

Thanx guys

easy way to stop the flipping over is to get a larger clutch bell 18 tooth or higher.

you may also want to try backing out the LSN about a 1/8 of a turn to a 1/4 turn that should also lessen the flipping over.

I have two of these engines one is currently in my savage and the other in my inferno, these engines are well known for massive lowend and tons of torque, take your time with the break in and the engine will reward you with a long lifespan.

By the way what type of clutch are you running carbon or aluminum?

Nice, I have the same engine in my Savage, unfortunately no wheelies. Anyways, do you have a wheelie bar on it?

Hey Grrlracer, I told ya that was one powerful engine! :hehe:

To keep the front end down you can either regear it, or loosen the slipper a little bit, personally I would regear it, if the slipper is too loose you can melt spur gears.

Enjoy the new mill :D.

Ummm.. HPI has a great wheelie bar. That engine is killer! It made my Savage a wheelie monster. Do you have the 3 speed tranny? It helps to control that power.

2 words........ 'throttle control' :p: J/K, I know this truck has been a headache for you from the start, but now that it's finally running...... and running well, I'd keep it and re-gear it, I think you'd be happy after a few months of it running.

All I can say is thats Purtty!!! LOL!!! you even got matching fuel tubing, JK it looks good but I'm with Mr. Clean throtle control is key. LOL!!

well its 3 speed but i don't know how to re-gear it and i am not going to spend a penny more on this thing..
my neighbour hates monster trucks and everytime he helps me out, he ends up breaking something because he's not familiar with them which in turn costs me more money,so i'm not gonna ask him for anymore help..

i'm upset about letting that beautiful engine go before i had a chance to enjoy it but i have no choice but to sell this truck :(

the reason i wanted a used truck was to have all the upgrades already done to it and so i could just enjoy running it without having to do anything else to it... but it isn't the case with this one...

i'm just a very unlucky gal
