It's been over 10 years since I got a new bike so I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my old K2 Razorback 3.0.

Not much room for a water bottle, but I added a matching carbon cage just the same.

Cool to see your not a "clipper" pedal guy. I always hated them. Awesome looking bike Rob, congrats.

Using clips and wearing a skirt is one in the same.

On a mountain bike yes, on a touring bike, no. It's nice having the extra power of the up stroke to tote an extra 150 lbs up a hill on a paved road.

Man that makes my Trek 4900 look like a joke. :-( . Like that bike though. I got rid of my full suspension years ago just because it made going up hills more of a challenge with the rear shock. I have some great trails a 10 minute ride from my house here in Korea. I have to agree with the clips on mountain bikes....um can you say dangerous?

Sexy. I disagree with clips on trails, but I always use my toe cups out there. It's how I train, therefore it's how I ride always.

Very nice! I wanted a mountain bike when I got my Trek 8.3 ds, but I do a lot of road miles and very little trail riding.

That is a heck of a bike man! What does it weigh? :)

29.8 lbs

I use a toe clip and strap on my road bike. My old MTB is also setup that way. I have gone down many times not being able to get my foot out of the straps fast enough on the slow going rough stuff though. Time to go back to old school.

I have never been a fan of the "clipless" style of pedals and will never use them.

Toe cups with straps are good in my book. I find the "clipless" type a bit to "cupcakeish".

Now if it would just stop raining......

Practice your bunnyhop in the living room. Problem solved.

Rain, no. Mud, yes.
