My new gaming experience....

Well I have done it, I have started to use "crack". I have been using everyday now and unable to stop. It is a good thing that it is cheap.

I am talking about that white stuff that is powdery, crack cocaine. Well not quite.......

I bought Everquest, and have been playing it now for 2 days straight. It is a bad a$$ game. If you are into long journeys, and some strategy and killing, big action, and the mythical/magical kinda stuff. I Love this game. The one thing i do hate is that it takes forever to load it up and start playing, about a good 2 min. because it updates off the net before you play.

For those of you who dont know what EQ is, it is a real role play game. All the characters on there are somewhere in the world. It is great to play the game.

I am being called an EQ junkie because i only leave my room to go to class and to go eat.......

If anyone else is on EQ, drop me a line, I would love to hear from you, and I can use some help too.....

I was an Eq junkie for about two years, level 65 wizard thousands of friends.

Before you get too far into the game. check out the Fironia Vie server. Some very nice people its a totaly different atmoshpere.

The best part is the real time interaction with other people. Getting together groups of people to take down a commmon target lots of fun.

Beware, normal people get divorced, loose girlfriends,jobs, houses, even kids have been lost over that game.

Once you meet a guy who's 65 and been around a while, ask them to type /played and see how many days/hours they have into their charachters.

If you want some helpful hints to make it easier, I can help you out. I also havea whole folder of favorites dedicated to eq.

I'm not into the magic wizard, elf stuff, but i still enjoyed tehe hell out of that game

I noticed you said you only leave to eat and go to school. If you;re that hooked already I would suggest you quit now, cut up your cd's and never look back.

Me, could always turn it off when it was time. Pissed a lot of people off in game to just dissapear on them. But, I have a family. If I was single I would probably have spent 6-8 hours a day playing that game.

Yea My Boss was totally hooked on that game...He had a very high level character...its seems that alot of people eventually burn out on it after a few years... I was always interested but did not want to pay $9.99 a month. I have my XboX and the Live feature is only 5 bucks a month using any game that is Live enabled.

It is an awsome game..... I have had to train myself to get offf... I am on The Tribunal server. But i am training myself to get off. it is working so far....

If you want some real action head on over to Dark Age of Camelot. A friend got me hooked by giving me a 5 day trial CD and that's all she wrote. I have a 47 Paladin, 33 Necromancer. I've been thinking about creating a caster type. Haven't decided yet.
