NICE Eddy. Does it specify a brand of optics on the lense or just say Canon?? I have a nice SOny with Carl Zeis lens in 5.1 megapixels. 6.3 is kick ass and more resolution then you may every print..hehe.

EDIT - I'll show ya the ins and outs of the camera if you rebuild all my Maxx's for me...SMILE>

Nice camera. What's the damage on one of those puppies anyway? My birthday is coming up and there's just enough time for the Mrs to save up for it! Gotta start dropping hints early in this house.

wow nice camera. its probly 200 times better then my HP 320. can u make short movies with that camera? Sometimes i wonder if they almost give us to many accesories to use and to figure out.

I paid $999.00 for it and negotiated a 4 year extended service contract at no charge. I pulled a fast one, made the sales dude at BestBuy open the box. It was the last one in stock. I came back to another sales person later in the day and made him sell it to me as an open box.

It came with an 18-55 lens marked Canon on it. I can tell its not that great of a lens but it will due for now. When I sell my other camera I will use the $$ to get a better lens or two. The lenses I want run from $500-$1000.00 and a 1gig CF is a pretty penny as well.

I currently have a Sony 717 with a CZ lens. Its an incredible all in one camera it just lacks the interchangeable lenses that I desire. I will be selling it with several sticks from 8mb - 128mb. One of my buddy's mentioned he wanted it, if not, I will post it later this week.

The camera works great! The operator Sucks!
I haven't has an SLR in such a long time I'm having to brush up on all the hoopla. I must have taken over 100 shots so far just trying to remember all details on the art of manual settings.

I'm glad its a digital so I can see the results immediately rather than having to send it out for developing.

Ill get it down in a year or two.

Ahhh manual settings. That must be hard does the camera offer a light meter at all?? You know you are even a decent photographer if you can shoot just by feel with a slr.
