during the fall my mugan went for a swim . have not ran since just tore apart the motor lastnight no rust .but i disasembled the whole thing anyway .got it all soaking in wd40 .now when i get home i will attempt to tear apart the rest kinda nervous never messed with a center diff or tore apart the rear diffsin something iwas going to put back together. Any tips would be welcome.and once i get it apart how do i know if it is a 2 speed center diff

If I am ever taking apart a part of the car I have no experiance with, I take pictures step by step, then when I need to re-assemble, referr to the pics to guide me the way.

Unless you have water proof servo's, pull the bottom off and fill it with WD-40 and let it sit for a little bit. Then drain it all out and let it air dry over night. I have revived many servo's like this when I ran my boats.

Pics are a good idea....between the pics and the exploded views you really shouldnt have much problem. IDK about a 2 speed Diff as I've never had one of those but regular diffs are all the same center, front, rear, all pretty much the same things most of the time. Its probably good that your doing this as you should periodically tear your diffs down and inspect them and fill the with fresh diff oil anyway. :)

ya i have heard that ,but never had anything besides revo and max they don't have oil.not sealed. the kyosho and mugen buggies came in a collection i got about 3 yrs ago and never did anything with them .mugen everything works the kyosho needs bat and receiver and motor .they both need bodies. old cars but need to get them going to see if i will keep them ,never ran a buggy .have heard they are better for raceing then bashing ,and i have no dirt, nothing but flat efin corn feilds over here on the coast.so i don't know how well they will do in the grass only other place we have is a very small skate board park and i do mean small.Only 1,500 people live in town.
