Hey Guys,

Since the birth of my daughter I have not had much of a chance to mess with my RC's, but I started on this kit the week before she was born and was able to have it built the day before she was born. In fact I was trimming the body and gluing tires while my wife was in labor. It was the nicest kit I have ever put together. The only parts trees were for the front and rear arms. Parts fit together beautifully! I am painting the body now. It has a Novak GTB Spread Spectrum, Novak Velocity Light 5.5, and a Specktrum Radio. I have a Trinity Duo 5.5 I can throw in it as well, but I think the 5.5 may be too much motor. I guess we shall see.

Here are a few pictures....

Thanks man. It was a breeze to put together man. I can't wait to get her on the track to see what it will do.

Thanks guys. I am a bit worried about the top and rear decks. I have heard that they seem to be the weak spot and the carbon fiber starts to de-laminate. I guess we will find out. It seems to be very well built over all. I think the carbon fiber could have been a bit thicker. One of the coolest features has to be the slipper setup. Dual disk, and easialy adjustable. The fact that the pins are secured in the CVD setup is pretty nice as well. It is raining here right now. It would be nice to be able to try this thing out!

My bet my Lazer turns left better than your B44 :stick: Too bad you're so far away bro, I'd love to try to put my Lazer up against your B44 on an oval.

Hey, you didn't specify... what kind of servo are you running? Just curious of the specs..

Hey Lessen... Any time my friend!! Of course I think we all know who's the best driver! LOL

I am just running a JR 590 for now. I couldn't afford the nice digital one I wanted, so I will use this until I can get something better.

Here is a few shots of the paint job I just finished. Can ya guess who it's modeled after? LOL

Tom! OMG dude! I'm LOVIN' the paint job! KILLER! Simple, yet racy. But what made you go with Green and white? :) :)

You do realize that I absolutely must do a new body for my Lazer now :D

Love that color, great looking ride. Glad you got something new to play with, you are going to need some stress relief from time to time with the newborn. I honestly think it would look a lot better if you had matching green wheels and lost the blue wheel nuts.

Thanks Lessen my friend. It is simple... because when it comes to painting I stink! Jr's scheme is a pretty simple design and it fit his car, so I figured I would use it for mine as well. I like it.... I think it will fit just fine. On a lid that small and narrow I thought it would look good.

I think a purple, white, and gold would be a killer scheme as well. If you do one, you will have to post it. I think that would look killer.

Hey marauder.. I have a set of yellow wheels for it that really look nice. A set of green wheels would look sweet though. I have also ordered some silver wheel nuts so that the blue ones don't stick out so badly!

Yep yep. I need to find the new SP body. I saw a picture of it somewhere and it is waaaay cooler looking than the standard ZX5 body.

The SP lid does look pretty sweet. Do you know if anyone is making NASCAR decals since Slixx's lost the licence? That is the only thing missing.

Not that I know of unfortunately. do what I do.. paint it.

Man, I do not have the paint skills you have for sure. Your Jamie Mac lid is really nice looking.

I also lack a paint brush, which would make things easier.

Yeah... your probably right... given some practice I am sure I could pick it up. Maybe one of these days. Do you use the liquid mask?

Thanks Rolex! Wait a minute.... your being complimentary.... are you feeling ok? Did you take your pills today? LOL

J/K my friend. Thank you for the compliments my friend. I really enjoyed this project.
