Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share with you a pic of my buggy. It is pretty entry level I know (I'm a total newbie to nitro), but thought you might get a kick anyway.

I've done a little to beef it up - an sts .28 (I'm a basher), a steel spur gear, a carbon four shoe clutch and also an extra brake disc. But it is very much a learner for me to see if I want to get into this hobby more with something that rates a little more.

Enjoy

Chris

I'm with boner up there! DON"T RUN THAT AIR FILTER!!! It doesn't trap the small dust paricles that will kill your engine.

Hi - thanks for the comments guys.

I'll trust your advice and put the standard foam filter back on. Luckily I've only run the buggy on a tennis court for a few tanks during break in, so it hasn't been anywhere dusty. Suprising tho - I thought the K&N looked bling and I have one on my real car, so maybe I just relegate it to a shelf unit except for photo shoots :) Whats the deal with those filters anyway? What are they designed for?

Yeah - I got sick of the standard .21, it ran super hot and didn't really have a lot of low down grunt for the jumps so I thought I'd make the change to a .28 as the STS is pretty inexpensive ($112USD new on ebay). Its so hard to stay off the throttle during break in, but even on blips to 50% it pulls harder than my old engine!
