ok first off i would like to make sure ur motor is good.. take out the glow plug and put ur pinkey finger or thumb to seal the hole and turn the engine.. if it feels like a strong suction then its good.. if its faint suction then its bad.. kinda hard unless you kno was good motor feels like. if its strong then step 2 is to check if fuel is being passed.. pinch the fuel line mid way in the line. turn the motor for a few seconds then release and there should be a air bubble traveling through from where u pinched it. if it disapears into the carb. then its good.. lastly tune the motor to factory settings. assuming you are correctly tuning the right screw.. then turn the hsn just a tad leaning it in the process.. with ur glow plug in and basically trying to start it.. with each couple of seconds of turning the motor, keep very slightly turning the hsn to the right.. little at a time.. this is as much as i can say to help.. so i hope u the best....

ok thanks mate - that was a big help :)

I'm still trying but as i have my exams coming up i havent had time
ill keep you posted.

thanks :)

if u see fuel goin thru the carb that means it gets there,as long as its not backing up.try turning hsn to 4turns out.leave the lsn for now.try to push the primer 1 more time as soon as u see nitro goin in the carb..hope this helps.what engine is this anyway?

the posts before me advised him on needle settings too.so i shared my opinion..and since its a nitro engine most of them have the same setting to start right?always start on the rich side..it works for me on any of my nitro engines so i figured share him what worked for me..

All nitro engines do not have the same starting point on needle settings and an overly rich engine can be damaged just as easily as a lean one.

oh ok thanks !...to the thread starter what i said worked for me but it may not work for you..
