thanks ill make sure i ask lots of questions. I Could still buy that one off of you if you want , so i can have a backup engine. How bout this if you find out the price for shipping ill take it off your hands.

I'm sorry lil dude, but buying off of and paying for shipping is 2 different things. I'm going to sell that motor i was just being nice, By trying to keep someone in the hobby. By no means am i trying to be smarta** about this i just could not find another way to say it.
I am glad you got another engine. And that is the whole point...(right):D

I did the break in like 2 hours ago :] I'm so happy And ill make shure to take care of this engine like a little baby :)

Lets see, you went to the hobby shop at 11 am, I'm sure it took you a little while to install the new engine, its now 5 pm and you say you finished breaking it in two hours ago? What kind of break in are you doing that you are totally done with the install and break in in under three to four hours?

Anyone wanna bet how long till this one goes boom too!

Not taking any sides here, cause i dont know how he really broke it in, but the traxxas break in method takes about 2 hours. THATS just with them telling you what to do....I stll drive mine light for at least the first gallon.

I would have did it that way, but when I did my engine a couple months ago, I didn't know about that method.

I kinda mixed the heat cycle method and the traxxas method and came up with one and it seems to work pretty well. and it takes at least 2 hours.

I just broke one in about 2 weeks ago and it was only 50 out so it cooled pretty quik even in the car. I take mine out to an old walmart parking lot nice n level.
I am going to try the straight up heat cycle next time to see if there is a difference.

Yah, it takes about two hours to do break-in. I'm a 14 year old who was lots of time for family and fun. i did it all at once the cooling and everything
the temperature stayed at the recommended 210-215 degrees. I have spring break at the moment. So I had lots of time .

i took me under 20 mins to install the engine. You might think I'm a dumb/slow kid but seriously I'm not

yeah it should take 2 hours then about 7 tanks more of babying it.

i didnt mean I'm done with the whole breakin i meant i just finished the 6 tanks traxxas recommends. I'm still not gonna go top speed on this one until i have 1 full gallon done.
