Made some progress today

We managed to seal the engine, seal the needles of the carb and installed the pullstart. Tonight we're placing our order for the suspension arms, new brakes, hardware and other miscellaneous parts.

It just keeps getting better

So far we have rebuilt the front and rear ends, installed newest version of the radio box and replaced a lot of the damaged parts. Also installed new rpm arms and installed new hardware. We get to the tranny to make sure nothing is damaged and to install the new fiberglass brakes and it has a 3 speed tranny! Talk about a score. I will post pics when it's done.

The rebuild is complete. Replaced all the missing hardware, upgraded the arms and the brakes, replaced front and rear skid plates, replaced the shock oil in all shocks, installed new radio box, installed new air filter, new roll bar, replaced both diff housings and refilled them with teflon grease, installed some new rubber and I'm working on getting the new switch harness from HPI. All in all it was great spending time with my daughter and teaching her some RC in the process. Even with all the parts replaced we're still cheaper than buying a new Savage X 4.6 but not that much.

where did u gwt those tires I got a ser of those and really like em but I got em with a revo I bought used

The tires are by Panther and I believe towerhobbies sells them. I bought them at a lhs for my tmaxx in 2001 and never used them. I'm going to post more pics of it when I get the chance.
