ok i start my car up as usual and the wheels are moving.i thought it was just revving or sumthin like that .i put it on the ground and it still moves. i accelerate and it will start to rev really high and when i try to brake it still goes really slow could my brakes be worn out? i have i dont have a f/s but i have tried it in difgfewrent places to assure that its not the servos! help me please

Sounds like your idle is too high. Try turning the idle counter clockwise an 8th of a turn at a time and see if that helps.

remember not to use your transmitter to tune your mill. Your carb should be where the tuning should mainly happen. The Transmitter it to "fine tune". Make sure that your transmitter is adjusted properly after the tuning is made on the carb. I like to keep my transmitter knobs in the middle so there is room for adjustment.

Correct!

Always set your trims to dead center, THEN, move the servo horns to the position that is best at that point. From there, slightly adjust the trims so your carb is fully closed, maybe even a hair of drag brake. Then, set your steering trim so when your hand is off the wheel the vehicle tracks straight.

Then, with both the tx and rx on, while the vehicle is running, you should be able to set your idle. Make sure after each adjustment you run it for a couple of laps. The adjustments in that small of increments, do no necessarily take effect immediately and can be seen moreso after driving it a little bit.

i tried to adjust the idle then when i started it.It went full throttle!

I suspect an air leak somewhere. check your fuel lines and make sure the plug is snug. Also check the carb is sealed along with the back plate. BTW what mill is this?

Ok, with the car off, and the linkage forcing the carb closed, remove the air filter and look down the hole. Adjust the the idle screw until the opening you see is a couple of credit cards thick of a gap. Only a couple of mm should be all you need.

Put it back together and try again.

I'm going to venture to say that the opening as it is, is a lot more than just a couple of mm of an opening.

If not, then your low speed needle could be wayyyy tooo lean.

If your carb is set and tuned then check to see if your clutch needs some maintanence.
