i have the idle speed set as low as possible, and when the car sits there, it rolls forawrd, and if i dont hit the break i can build up to actualy going fairly fast any help??:\

prolly the slipper clutch.

nah thats most likely your clutch springs. your clutch is engaging at to low RPM. you need to change the spring

If I remember correctly, the old RC10GT RTR didn't use a clutch spring or springs. I believe you have to set up a bit of drag brake so at idle, the brakes are engaged a bit. When you give it gas, the brake will release and the clutch will fully engage.

The "no spring" method is a way to control low end power when you take off. The clutch engages really early to help with wheel spin on a 2wd ST.

I'm sure you can find aftermarket clutch's that use a spring. AE may have one as an alternate for those that don't like the constant drag.

Sorry, I don't know. I'll do some looking around and see what I can find. More than likely just new shoes and the spring.

I can't find anything definite. The new RC10 GT2 uses shoes with springs and a much larger tooth cb than the older RC10GT. The shoe pins appear to be quite a bit further apart, so I don't know if the GT2 clutch will fit.

i googled rc10gt clutch and i found someone with about the same problem on another forum...he was told to go with the mip 4-in-1 clutch whut do you think?
