Well I got this in trade for an old beat up riding mower, I put a $26 battery and he gave me $20 towards a new battery for the car in case the 2 he included were bad, so I look at as a $6 Bandit VXL. As you can tell in the pictures it's an older model (not waterproof) but is in mint condition......was in mint condition. I got the car, 2 Venom 7.2v batteries and an Onyx 230 charger, all of which were put back in their original boxes when I got it. All of the carnage in these pictures was done within 2 weeks and on 7.2v Nimh batteries, I can't wait to run Lipo.

How I got it.

Handles some water and mud pretty good for not being waterproof.

You can't tell in this picture but the motor protector is broken in multiple places.

If you can't tell by my pictures, I'm pretty easy on my cars so I will probably have a boring story to tell every now and then. A wide mod Rustler conversion is in the Bandit's future along with waterproofing.

Jesus man, I have NEVER EVER seen a broken RPM part..... You must have been wide open all over the place, maybe drunk? :hehe:

I love those new tires, reminds me of Mad Maxx & The Thunderdome style vehicles.

How the hell did you break that bumper? I have one on an all alloy VXL pede that's literally been beat to death, tumbles, cart wheels, lots of crashes by me and everyone else. And, I only run on 3s lipos, and it hasn't broken yet. Sweet deal too, wait till you try out lipos. A word of warning on that though, throttle control is key, especially with the light weight short stock chassis. My pede will flip over backwards at anything under 40mph on 3s, and I freaking love it! :D

^^ That makes 2 members thus far wow'ed by a busted RPM part :hehe:

I've literally seen my truck take up more distance crashing than it was driven (not sure how that's even possible) :hehe: and the bumper has big gouges in it, but is holding up fine.

Yea, I think RPM had a bad batch of parts. My Nitro Rustler is RPMed out and I've never broken an RPM part, I put this new bumper on the Bandit and it lasted 1 day. I saw a Rustler break an RPM bumper, arms, castor blocks and bearing carrier this was done from a WOT run in with a curb while it was cold out though, we were in the 70's when mine broke.

I broke an RPM bumper on my modded RC18T doing a speed pass and hitting a curb to avoid a car.
