Hey every one i am starting a 3 wheel chopper project it started out as me thinking of building a chopper with pedal but then i wanted to add a engind so i decided to start with a 3 wheel one since i could use a go kart axle.So i am in the process of gathering parts in my online shopping carts at different places and i jsut ordered today 25ft of 1"x1" 16thwall square tubing and an 1" dia. steel bar stock.

Here is my Parts list.


25ft of 1x1 16th wall square tubing(ordered)
Mini bike handle bar throttle(ordering)
5Lug 12 inch wide wheels
12" wide tires(own)
Front tire and Wheel
5hp motor(own)
Lawnmower clutch(own)
A big pully for the engine
Small pully for axle
Go-Kart Axle 1"Dia(ordered)
Brake calipers and pads(ordering)
Brake disk(ordering)

Will Have pics from start to finish...

whatever floats your boat i guess. i would get a v-twin engine, so you can have dual exhaust, then i would approve of it more... :bowned:

dude fiddlesticks you i am putting a 90 cc engine in it with an 8 speed and by the time i am done it will be street legal..oo and i think you should change your sig Woodie made someone else with tha same kind change his..and they arnt "panzies" in the chopper world..their is a custom fab garage here in town that specializes in choppers a trikes that is all you see around her and at the bars is custom trikes and poop...and lets see do you own a chopper or any kind of motor cycle?

Sounds like a fun project, we got a sandrail in the works in the neioghbors garag, and I have a couple of fiberglass dunebuggies, the dune buggies (scooby doo type) are growing weeds lol, but the sandrail is alive and moving forward...

If you can find an old Volkswagon engine, they are a pretty easy project, the rear transaxle hooks the the motor, all you need realy is a seat, and and the front of a motorcycle to weld on, and you are good to go.. let us know when you make some more progress.

well i am makeing the frame myself and and this week sometime i am going to a graveyard for this kind of poop and getting an atv axle gas tank,carb for motor,wheels and tires,and forks maybe and some other poop.. i will post opics when the building starts

all motorcycles and trikes suck and are a waste of time and money

sounds like ur make a 3 wheel scooter

do a car or at least get some power in it

make a 1/10 rc chopper trike that would be ok

why in the fiddlesticks would i want to make an rc and yes i am buying a jeep so i dont need to buyild a car and i am building a trike.a 3 wheel scooter? what the hell i have to see when i go to the junkyard if the got any big engines to put in it if not it is gonna be like a ATC but almost street legal and pluys why the hell would i want to go above 70mph off road wit it since around where i live i have over 100acres of farmland and it is not flat at all the engine i am putting in it has an 8 speed with up to 70mph speeds..and i am building it also since i am gettiing the engine for free the metal and all rest of the parts for like 30 bucks from a junkyard adn again why whould i want to make a fiddlesticking rc motorcyle i can't ride it,Lykan Thanks for a positive reply unlike the other too panzies

why are you blasting him how old are you. the way you talk it sounds like a 5 year old. could you make one better if so do it and post your project.this fourm is so members can post there projects. if you want to flame on some one take it to the ffa fourm.
btw i would like you to say that to the many members of the hells angles or the unknown bikers or any other bike clubs out there.
in the angles there is about 3% of them that have trikes.

Sorry to see all these guys screwing with ya so hard, the trike project sounds cool keep us posted and get us some picks as you go along. Motorcycles are the way to go can't beat it in the warm weather I have a 2003 Yamaha Roadstar 1600 myself have been riding for many years, two wheels or three can't beat the wind in your face. So keep up with the project and don't let these negetive clowns get ya down.

ok one question for all the trike and motor cycle haters how old are you and what do you drive/ride.... Yea i hope to have pics up thois weekend with my parts and poop butr i am getting pissed at my cousin since he used to work and a fab/metal building welder and he nknows a guy in the fab shop that can get it for free so hopefully i will have it this weekend and hopefully i have time since we are working on body workd and interior on a 65' belevadear and sanding down and painting a 88' bertta...so hopefully i can get some time to use the mig since that is what my dad is useing for the patches.....WILL HAVE PICS BY SUNDAY LATEST MONDAY

and plus if you got a welder, grinder,helmet,and metal anything can be done so yous wait and see...and i still what and answer to my question about How old are yous and what do you drive/ride?and it is funny the flamers only posted once and the positive poster posted more i think yous are the pussies you dont want to be shot down by other ppl

i know yous are all wiating for pics but i might have to hold off till maybe summer since my grandmom is in the hospital for ammonia and other poop and she can't live by herself so me and my dad need to put in adownstairs bathroom and a bedroom for her and put an addition on and other poop and my dad's one brother is being a butthead.I live on a fruit farm and my mommom own 1/3 my dads owns 1/3 and is one brother owns 1/3 and my dad is trying to get power of attorney for my mommom so he would hve 2/3 and his brother would have 1/3 and he can do what ever..so it is pretty hectic around here.so yous will just need to be cool and chill till i can get to the graveyard and poop to get parts which is hard at the moment since it is an hour away.RC Freak STFU wow you have a car did you ever drive a harley or a trike and big freaking deal jesse james saids the are for pussies id rather watch OCC anyway. And after we do the addition we are prolly building a 4bay garage which each bay can fit two cars front to back with room to work and a piant booth so we got alot going on plus the 65' Belvadeare we are trying to restore to put up on ebay.So i might be awhile.and plus i would of went on saturday but me and my dad had to go do a welding job for this guy around ten and we got there and we had to wait an hour for the cement truck to move then by the time we would of got home unhook the welding trailer and hooked up the big trailer for part we would opnly have an half hour to look.
