TJ, actually alot of the pro's never mention track conditions on there base setups, because thats usually the setup that works "well" everywhere. They may make a few tweaks and changes, but normally nothing drastic.

Also, every race that has ever been at sliverstate in vegas is totally blown out by about half way through the qualifiers.

What do you mean blown out, it was the smoothest track I've ever seen. Here are some pics!

Nice. Instead of tractors, it looks like they used mortars to build the track.

if I go to 3k in the rear I bump the front and center up a lil too....

what do you mean by this?

I'm gonna give racing a shot this year and have been reading stuff like this trying to get a better understanding of what does what as well as lingo and what not

when he says bump the front and rear up he's talking about useing a little thicker fluid in teh front and center diffs.

I don't agree with his advice. I personally think it's better to make one change at a time and just see how the car reacts to it. Plus going up in all 3 diffs at the same time is really going to net you nothing. It's just going to make the car act the same as it was to begin with, just much more punchie.

I race one track pretty much so my adjustments would be for either high traction or low traction....I know if the clay is wet and packed in good but not baked I just want it to grip the same but snap off the line as fast as I can get it...I love when you have so much traction if feels like your driving electric touring cars almost....but I do swap the rear first and see how I like it...If I give the rear more posi, I'll find I want it more all around anyway....also tire selection I'm finding using different types of treads from front to rear will help fine tune for tracks too....I like step pin (med) in front and Komodos in the rear......gives me more of of a pull from the front whil allowing th erear to break loose a lil easier....
