mSR X Upgrade problem

So, I bought a microheli aluminum blade holder and main rotor hub but when I went to put the links on I found that they dont fit through the center of the "guides" or whatever you call those slots that stick out from the rotor hub. Microheli doesn't sell any special links so I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what. I have the links installed but the only way to install them is to slant them like in the picture below. I'm pretty sure this is incorrect and I'm assuming that this will affect performance somehow? Not sure what to do. Anyone have any tips or suggestions or is this actually ok?

Unhook the links and drop them through the guides on the MH head, then rotate the bottom collar until whichever set of ball ends (short or long) you want line up and snap them in place, done.

As I said, the links dont fit through the guides, I already tried that, they are to thick...

After digging around on the internet its apparently a design flaw...AWESOME!...as Rolex would say O_O

LOL, its not my favorite word! I'm just copying Rolex!!!
I guess I'm just gonna put the stock hub back on it as i dont feel like paying another $20 for the RKH one. I can't believe they would make a part that doesn't work and continue to keep making it I dont know what microheli's rep is for hop up parts but they just lost a lot of my trust in their hop ups. Makes me want to avoid their stuff like the plague now.

Gotcha, I missed that part. I've had issues with their stuff in the past, so I too no longer buy their parts.

yeah so I contacted the seller and they said that its not uncommon problem. They claim that the links that blade makes arent always the same thickness and it can causes issues with that rotor hub. I ended up just sanding the links down a bit on the outside even though I didnt originally want to. It just seemed easier than taking the hub back off and putting the stock one back on.

Btw, heres a couple of pictures of it after I put a bunch of after market parts on it. It looks pretty sweet I think
