i run always in dusty areas and i just got a prefilter and i hope that helps, but so far so good with the filter , you may have just got a bad batch....if that exists in filters

i WILL STICK TO MY GOOD OLD RB FILTERS AND PRE FILTERS,YOU CAN BUY A BAG OF LIKE 20 FOR CHEAP JUST ADD OIL TO THE BAG AND TOSS THEM TO A GUY IN NEED WHEN THEY GET DIRTY DAMM CAPS sorry:surrender

Same here, I have never had one come aprt on me. I did upgrade mine anyway to the new caps when they were offered.
