Man, my dad is soo slow building these things. I've once built an entire buggy in one day. You have now passed where I am. I still haven't got to the steering or center diff cause the dad is slow haha. What oils are you running? I am just running what came with it, LSD/4/1 is what I think it is.

I'm running stock set up as far as oil goes.
I'm not rushing the build.
Little bit at a time.

I know your not rushing...just my dad takes forever! And he won't let me build it without him cuase he knows it would all be done in a day haha.

LOL.
Half the fun is the build. Thats why I do a little bit at a time.
It helps me relax.

I agree, the build is half the fun, but once I get building I can't stop haha. I am going to try and get pics tonight. We are gunna build some more of it tonight.

you relax, that will be the day!
its always good to take your time building.this way you dont mess up.
i have more fun building them and doing maintance on the cars most of the time.

Well I did a lot with my Special 1. I jsut call it mine now haha, the steering is done, center diff is on, engine/clutch is on, tuned pipe is on, and the fuel tank is on. Next is radio then shocks then thats it! This is the first pro level buggy I have built and it looks sweet. There are many things upgraded over the regualr MP777 that I built. I will have pics in the next couple of days, but not yet.

I just sit down and turn on the tv. After a couple of movies on HBO, the whole thing would be done (roughly 7-9 hrs). That's what I did for the last kit I assembled. Got everything done except for mounting the engine and building the shocks. I save those for the next day anyway.

Well I got some pics of mine. Here ya go.

Sits kinda low without the shocks on it...

Well i just put the shocks on...I am gunna make my dad do the radio hahahaha. I am waiting on a radio from Mr. T-Maxx so why put the POS one in there now? idk maybe I will just to run it a few times :)

The shocks went together easy. I've built so many kits now I am getting much better and quicker at all the little things.

I might be just a little further on the build.
No need for me to post a pic.
Looks good Ac.

I don't have my camera. I guess the next pic will be the finished product.
I installed the JRZ8800s digital servos and servo tray, and radio box.
Next, the shocks.

Wife came home, I have the camera.
Here's where i'm at.
Almost done.

SP2 has dark blue springs.

Lookin great guys! Ya, I saw those SP2 springs on ebay, and really liked them....I been thinkin bout pickin up a set for my buggy maybe... :)

All done!
I used the spoke rims because a paid a fortune for them a while back, and just had to use them. The 777 rims will be used for a different kind of tire.
Also Just waiting on an after market linkage setup, and have to add fuel line to the other filter.
Here are the final pic's and the end of the thread for me.
This wasn't as popular as the K3 build thread from a while back, but fun non the less.
Thanks for following along.
