Have any of u guys moved your recivers to a different spot.
I have a pipe and it rubs the reciver and I can't extent my pipe like I want to.

Thanks

Something like this may be a little extreme for your needs but it was about the only thing I could think of for my particular application. I cut a piece of carbon fiber so that it attaches to two of the throttle servo screws and an aluminum post from an extra fuel tank I had layin around. The receiver box itself is made out of plexiglass and assembled with CA glue. If this is something your interested in making let me know I could probably send you an outline of the mounting plate. I need to take it off anyways cuz I never sealed the edges.

That outline would be great I have a nice piece of aluminum that will work

shoot me your email addy and I'll send you the file. I traced the plate and scanned it, printed it out to make sure it comes out the same size so it should be ok.

I didn't use a plate. I just took the bottom of the receiver box, drilled a hole and used stand offs to mount it over the steering servo. For the second hole, I just ran a long bolt through one of the existing tabs on the receiver box through the top and the bottom.

Sorry I don't have a closer pic. I used to, but I can't find it.

Nice job on both boxes guys.. not meaning to hiJack... lessen you have a twin engine beast?

yes, built it last summer. i only had enough time to break in the engines before the weather started to turn... I'm itchin real bad now to start messin with it again.. got a lot of snow to wait out though. :(

Did you consider cutting alittle off your header? If its just bearly not fitting, I had to trim my bro's 2.5 header back alittle to fit the sirio bb pipe in.

no the way I had it was so far back it had very powerful bottom end and I wanted to pull it out about 1/2 in but I had no room.
Plus I wanted to be different.
