a dual drive in?? that sounds interesting...

When I was in Maryland visiting family I went to Bengies Drive In, first time in years upon years I've been to a drive in. Saw Hancock and Zohan (ick) there. It was okay. I'm not a big drive in fan. Almost got busted for having food in the trunk, apparently they do car searches, thank god the attendant got pulled away and let me go thru - they expel anyone who breaks the rules, with no refunds. It was nice that it was 2 movies for the price of one, even tho Zohan was raunchy.

actually its a 4 theater drive in

Saw Indiana Jones, disappointment all the way... Nothing like the original ones. Written very sloppy.

Wild Wild West was a decent enough movie.

Kung Fu Panda and Space Chimps are on my to see list.

Wall-E was cute.

Well, the local social club that has been vacant for years just got sold. The guy put in a small screen and shows movies that are mid to end run.About 150 seat theater, I think it was a live stage at one time, but has all the 60-70's "charm". Think Muppets, and thats about what its like. They have Get Smart this week, and for $5 an adult and $3 for kids, you can't go wrong.During the day, its cheaper yet!

I must say Iron Man was the best so far this summer, and I was a big fan as a kid.

Deffinatly diggin Wallie, and batman was AMAZING. Just a little too long. Heath Leger put on a great preformance, and i would have probably OD'd too if i had to act like he did in that thing.

Iron Man was indeed fantastic! I wouldn't mind seeing that one again in the theatre.

I don't know if I can watch Dark Knight, too depressing. I was a heath ledger fan... But I know I'll see it anyway, it was supposedly the best performance in his entire career.

I detest going to movies, so I don't......EVER! Kids want to go see a new release like Kung Fu Panda? Their Mother takes them! Wife wants to see something? Better call a friend or sister, 'cause that's the only date you're going to get! Here's why:

1. They cost TOO DAMN MUCH!
2. I'm not a fan of crowds.
3. $8.00 popcorn and $3.00 soda. Are you flippin' kidding me?
4. THEY DON'T SERVE BEER!
5. The people that talk during a movie need to be shot.
6. Why advertise a movie starts at 9:00 PM when it really won't start until 9:20 PM because of all the previews and commercials!

There you have it! Besides, movies end up on PPV and/or DVD within about 3 months, so for the $4.95 cost of a PPV, I can watch it at home, drink my beer and not have to deal with the idiots and fools!

7.it's either too hot or too cold in the theatre
8.if i need a pee it's awkward and i miss some of the movie

hope you didn't mind i added to your list there :D

just wanted to add : HOW IRONIC! i went to see batman at the cinema on saturday only to sit in 100 degree heat for 21/2 hours..couldn't enjoy the movie at all in that heat... so went to get a cold bottle of water from the cinema foyer, was charged £2.50 (almost 5 bux)for a 75cl bottle..!
i don't mind spending a little extra if need be but that is just takin the pee.

Today i watched 'wanted' at home.. water was free... had a nice fan on me and was comfortable on a leather sofa with my feets up... with the pause button ready at my finger tips if i had to take a pee! and i enjoyed every second of that movie!

hmmmi think i used the word 'pee' a little too much there lol
