Awesome Bike! How many races did u win?

Unfortunately none. The switch from a Yamaha TZ250 to big 4-stroke V-twin was too big of a switch. Never quite got used to it. Thats why the ZX-6RR this year.

The year I raced the TZ250 was my best year. Finished in the top 3 consistently, with one 1st place at the fastest track we race at. Won it with a last lap pass and won it by a nose a the finish line. Not to mention that it was my first race back after a hard crash....

AP my cousin had a ducati monster if or get which one but was it fast i rode on the back once and the speeddometer started at zero again.Where in pennsylvania they passed the law that you dont need to wear a helmet on a motorcycle. And then the passed the law about click it or ticket where it is law now to where a seatbelt in a car which i think is bullshit.

They did the same damn thing here in KY about the no helmet but have to wear a seatbelt. It is complete bullshit especially since i was fined for it.

well most states and DOT look at motocycle riders as organ doners anway. So if they want to get more organ doners they justy remove the helmet laws. Without full leathers, armor, and a GOOD helmet theres almost no chance of surviving a crash at highway speeds.

That is sweet AP. I always wanted a Ducatii like that. WHat class do you race in? Have you ever been to Firebird raceway in Phoenix? They do a lot of road racing there.

Hey Team, there was a thread a few weeks ago about dirt bikes, a lot of guys here have dirt bikes

dirtbikes

Wow Ramtech that is a nice ass bike!!! That bike is Awesome!!! I dont have a bike yet, but also want a rigid chopper. Nothing to smooth..lol..

When I raced the Aprilia I was racing in Heavyweight Superbike and SuperTwins GTO. Now that I'm racing a 600, I race in Middleweight Supersport, Middleweight Superbike, and Amatuer GTU.....

I've only raced in California, Willow Springs Raceway, and now here in Colorado. Colorado is great for roadracing. We've got 4 tracks all within a couple hour drive. We race at Pikes Peak International Raceway which is cool cause its a "pro" facility with garages, real bathrooms, and just a real professional feel to it.

Other tracks are just that, a track with minimal facilities. But its all good. Its better to any racetrack than none......

if i had the money when I'm older i wish i could get a aprillia bike. they look amzing. I'm liking the honda cbr600rr for when I'm old enough and have the money to ride 20'sh

I'm currently thinking of a GSXR 600

I weigh like 125 to 135 or so and need somethign with power but not something like adamn 1100 i need somethign to have fun on.

1000cc aren't all they're cracked up to be. In the right hands, that power can be tapped. But IMO, 600s are the best all around bike. They're fast and carry less weight than the 1000cc bikes, so they carry more corner speed.

In my Novice year of racing I raced my 600 in the NGTO class as well as NGTU. This class was for 601cc and above. So, I was racing against GSXR750s, GSXR1000s, CBR9xxRRs, etc... While I didn't finish first in that class, I finished in the top 12 or so. There were a boatload of those big bikes behind me.

My buddy currently races a 2000 Yamaha R6 in HeavyWeight Superbike, and has finished the fist 4 races in the top 3. Again, this is against, R1s, ZX-10RRs, GSX-R1000s, etc. This class is not the amatuer or novice riders in our club. These are the "Big Guns".

1000cc bikes will beat the 600cc bikes in a straight line though. If you want straightline speed, a Hayabusa is the way to go....

 Hmmmm Hayabusa...

Comfort AND Speed all for about $12,000 US
As much as I like speed..I'll stay with a 600. Hayabusa's are good for a straight line and love gawking at the turbo ones(460hp at rear wheel) but for that money I could buy a bone stock 92 RX7 or buy a Honda 4cycle Turbo charged Jet ski and hiting 90mph on the water. Water hurts much less than concrete
