What is the expectancy of an .15 rc10 gt motor ?? What do replacements run ??

umm.. well my friend, (spanko123) has a rc10 .15 and hes had it for a long while... about almost a year... and he has ran into over heating problems and carb problems too.. but then agian i dont have one so i couldnt realy tell you. :marshall:

ya man, like he said it over heats but what ya gunna do. it is such a rock solid stofck eninge muho powerr man, i dont no(or care) about life it runs, still runs, WILL keep on running so run it(but take care of) intil it seizes up and dies. i mean an engine is an expensive and very important part in any vehicle, and it SHOULD last long, really long but you no how they build r/cs!! so just ruun and have fun while ya can, but ill tell ya its so sweet
later!

I'm running on my 6th gallon on my OS 15 cv-r(x). It still is a screamer with plenty of compression and power.

For life of engine it's about 10% engine type, 10% engine manufacturer and 80% user that dictates an engines life. If you don't run to lean, you don't over heat, you don't over rev, you run clean fuel filters, clean air filters and just a generally clean engine, you will get a long life out of it.

It's just like anything else. If you take care of it, it will last. If you don't, then it won't.
