Looks like Redcat has a 1/32 scale Ascent coming out too. Sub mini crawlers look like they are going to be this season's push for stocking stuffers. 🤷‍♂️

My 1/18 is small enough. I can't imagine going smaller. The idea is great and for people that have smaller spaces or less time for RC, but I just dont like them 🤷‍♂️. I love my 1/10 models because they're big enough for the thrill but small enough to where they dont make me 100% broke and are simple to work on.

1/18 is probably my most used, but thats because of space limitations. My 1/10 are fun but I have to travel a bit to use them. My 1/6 SCX6 is an awesome truck, but doesn't get to play as much as I would like, for the above reasons. As soon as Mrs. Doom is done with her medical stuff, I want to head to the coast again, some great crawling spots there.

There's a special place in my heart for 1/32 scale toy cars. That's the scale of slot cars I used to race with abunch of guys in NH and Mass.
I haven't really been into rc for awhile, but I may pick one of these up. Finance has been taken a hard hit lately, now that we have 3 in college, but I'll try to justify this small buy somehow 😄

For under a hundred bucks, these could be a good distraction. You guys know I love my mini's but I don't know about capability. The smaller you go the less capable they are. Using them on terrain suited to their scale makes these pretty much indoor only on a custom course.

The trade off is that a smaller scale course(s) are typically easier to make. Little twigs replicates logs, small rocks replicates boulders, etc. And, of course, a smaller footprint makes it more accessible for many who don't have enough space.

I do like making dioramas. :)

I like this. If Axial hadn't just announced the 30, I would probably grab these.
From my experience, out of box the Redcat 1/18 is more capable than the Axial 1/24.
But from what I have seen from these micros, looks like Axial wins this battle. Them high clearance rear links and angled skid plates are a nice touch.
